Daniel Craig is a wonderful actor but I repeat, not James Bond. This fact was driven home to me over the holidays by the happenstance of seeing Defiance immediately after being bored rigid by Quantum of Solace. I think Felix The Cat would make a better fist of it than Craig. He never seems to stop running. All the humour and nonchalance has gone from the character of Bond and been replaced with ????

Great casting is picking actors the way Ian Fleming described them. Going against this is not clever it’s atrocious.
I find it difficult to believe G.Lazenby ranked last in your poll. He was Bond. Sir Sean 2nd. “OHMSS” best film. 2nd “DR.NO”. Best novel “Live And Let Die” (ruined as a film).
George Lazenby was not bad, Ohmss is great movie with lots of problems, in my view. Althoug Lazenby maybe did not fitted well in the biotype.
