You seem to be taking the news of a younger Q better than that of a blonde James Bond, why is the website even still running: Daniel Craig’s Bond has more in common with Flemings Bond than say, Roger Moore (and his hair is roughly the same colour)
His Bond is comparable to the Dalton Bond and early Connery Bond (not as serious as the former, with slightly less humour than thee later) To say that Ian Flemings James Bond last appeared in Die Another Day is indeed a stretch as Ian Fleming was no doubt rolling in his grave at the thought of Solar Power lasers and invisible cars! Casino Royale on the other hand is the first appearance of Flemings Bond since License to Kill (a film that was essentially based on Live and Let Die the novel)

SKYFALL is a terrible title for a James Bond film. The plot is tired and predictable, and Daniel Craig, although a good actor, is not well directed and not portraying the charming and deadly Bond, only the deadly Bond.

Looks like Sherlock Holmes, cerebral, not very cruel or magnetic.
I think Humphrey Bogart was close to Bond in terms of magnetism. He didn’t have classic good looks, but he had something, and certainly not bland like Daniel Craig. Also, Bogart wasn’t bulked up, and neither is Bond. He wasn’t 6-2 like a Connery, but Bogart other attributes more than made up for anything he lacked.

I have been collecting Bond ephemora since the early 1960′s. I raed all of Ian Flemings books long before I saw Sean Connery’s interpretation of Bond. For me, Sean Connery was never Bond! Even Fleming himself had misgivings about his casting as Bond. George Lazenby at least did his own stunts and was given bad advice as to whether he should continue as 007. Roger Moore… the less said about him the better. Timothy Dalton brought a harder edge to Bond which pierce Brosnan borrowed as his own. Finally we come to Daniel Craig who has done what some deemed impossible he brought new life to the James Bond films. Yes… he has blonde hair (while Connery sported a not so great toupee) Yes, he does his own stunts and is more capable than any other actor who has aspired to be Bond. I fully support Craig as the most talented gifted and most of all believable actor to take on the role of Ian Fleming’s cold blooded assassin known as “Bond… James Bond.”
