Sir Ken Adam 1921-2016
Sir Ken Adam has died aged 95. He made many iconic set designs for seven James Bond films in the 60s and 70s. His wonderful extravagant designs – such as those on The Spy Who Loved Me – are one of the most memorable parts of the Bond series.
He worked as a production designer on many other films.
He was born in a Jewish family who came to Britain in 1934. He trained as an architect and saw service in WW2 in the RAF as a piliot.
