A FASHION BOND
NEVERMIND Daniel Craig in his trunks, Pierce Brosnan will always have the Bond
charm to us, especially now he's immortalised in print alongside German-born
Storm model Julia Stegner in the new Aquascutum campaign. Kim Winser, who is
credited with turning around the fortunes of Pringle of Scotland, arrived to raise the
fashion stakes at Aquascutum in April this year and if her first campaign is a signal
of the 150-year-old label's future, it's going to be fun to watch.
"For the autumn/winter 2006-7 campaign Aquascutum is inspired by tradition and
ritual, chivalry and glamour, the power of the city of London an the lifestyle of
success," we're told. "Shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Andrew
Richardson, the campaign explores a sensual and modern phenomenon, 'The
Power Couple', and their lifestyle. Power is a potent aphrodisiac and the campaign
plays with this compelling dynamic casting Pierce and Julia as the ultimate power
couple." Shot on location at Somerset House, the shots will appear in fashion
