'scary' Bond Girl Rosamund Pike
Rosamund Pike thinks people became scared of her after 'Die Another Day'.
The British actress - who played villainess Miranda Frost in the 2002 James Bond film - believes people are frightened of her since she played the confident and sexy MI6 double agent in the spy film franchise.
She said: "Being a Bond girl was scary, wonderful and life-changing. I felt completely out of my depth doing 'Die Another Day'. I was quaking in my boots on that set. Looking back, I'm incredibly proud to have been a Bond girl. But I think it made other people scared of me."

Dr No One of The 6 Most Pointlessly Elaborate Movie Murder Plots
From Cracked.com The 6 Most Pointlessly Elaborate Movie Murder Plots #3.The Poisonous Spider in Dr. No
James Bond movies are notorious for elaborate murder plots that involve large stockpiles of nuclear weapons, a small amateur army and the equivalent of the gross national product of a small Third World country. So while this one may not be the most elaborate, it is probably the most ill-conceived.
When one bad guy (Professor Dent) meets with Dr. No about their James Bond problem, Dr. No hands Dent a cage with a poisonous tarantula inside and orders that he kill Bond with it. Presumably he means with the spider, though it would have been quicker and more effective to bludgeon Bond to death with the cage.

Heart patient Sean Connery refuses to give up red wine
David Murray, with Sir Sean, in the wine cellar.
London, Oct 11 (ANI): Veteran actor Sean Connery has refused to give up his favourite red wine even after been diagnosed with a heart condition.
The former James Bond star has been warned to stop drinking alcohol by medics but he refuses to give up, as he believes it is good for his health.
"I do drink red wine because of my friend David Murray, who owns two French wine estates. He showed me the evidence that it was good for the health," the Daily Express quoted him as telling Wine Spectator magazine.
"I favour Merlots from Chile for their value and I keep a good deal of California wine in my cellar. I have one that cost me USD 2,000 for two cases, which I think is rather steep," he added.
Meanwhile, the actor is likely to return as Professor Henry Jones in the fifth 'Indiana Jones' movie.
The Oscar winner had turned down the chance to reprise his role as the father of the daredevil archaeologist, played by Harrison Ford, in last movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’, which hinted that his character had passed away.
However, according to the sources, the movie execs are planning to bring Henry back. (ANI)

WAMG Exclusive: Fox Acquiring James Bond Distribution Posted October 5 by Kirk
James Bond is finding a new home, and he'll have Jedi and aliens to welcome him into the fold. For the last few weeks, movie goers have been curious as to what is going to become of some of MGM’s more prominent franchises. Over the last, couple of days, the company has entered into a forbearance agreement. The agreement expires in the middle of December, and, for now, 'The Hobbit' is safe and sound where it is. However, the company said nothing of the future of 007 adventures.
A source close to the dealings has let We Are Movie Geeks know that Bond is alive and well, and will be settling into his new domicile for marketing and distribution at 20th Century Fox.

James Bond's carmaker bankrupt?
With Aston Martin in a significant financial mire we wonder if James Bond will still have a car to drive in his next movie.
You know the deal with Aston Martin. Ford sold it off in March of 2007 to Prodrive mastermind and racing entrepreneur Dave Richards.
Adding financial liquidity to the deal was a Kuwaiti fund called Investment Dar, which had a raft of particularly acquisitive Gulf banks finance part of its 51% stake of the $925m deal back in 2007.
Then and, well, now
In 2007 the world was awash in easily accessible lines of credit and cars were literally flying off showroom floors.
Two years later, well, let us just say spending has been curtailed a bit…
Investment Dar is in a spot of bother now.

GoldenEye 10th Greatest Game
YEAR: 1997 FORMAT: NINTENDO 64

When Empire reviewed GoldenEye 007 back in the day, we only gave it four stars because it was unthinkable that James Bond could die. Now, over a decade later, we're still repenting our sins. A genuine classic that introduced stealth, sniping and scintillating style to the familiar Doom template, GoldenEye 007 now stands as one of the most influential console blasters of all time, and a fan favourite for its delirious multiplayer mode where Jaws, Baron Samedi, Oddjob and a wealth of other Bond villains battled it out in a variety of exotic locations. Grenade Launchers in the Temple, anyone'?
Memorable for... : Style. After blasting his way off a frigate packed with grenade-tossing enemy soldiers, Bond hurls himself into a waiting lifeboat - and casually checks his cufflinks before sailing to safety. Could they have captured the character's essence any more perfectly?

Wolverine and 007 Teaming Up on Broadway
Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig are teaming up to star in a play about two cops who find themselves in the middle a domestic dispute turned deadly, according to the New York Post.
Though Craig hasn't performed on the stage since his days as a struggling young actor, Jackman won a Tony in 2004 for his performance as songman Peter Allen in "The Boy From Oz." That role that forced the action star to trade in his sideburns and adamantium claws for maracas and flouncy blouses.
The new show is being produced by Barbara Broccoli, who inherited stewardship of the James Bond franchise from her father, Albert Broccoli.
Broccoli took a $10 million bath with her 2005 Broadway production of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."

Connery & Moore rank in 10 richest British actors
The recently released Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie boasts an impressive cast made up of mostly British actors. In a world where American stars dominate headlines, we count down the British actors with salaries to rival their US counterparts.
Two former Bonds are in the top ten.
2. Sir Sean Connery Worth: £80m Despite declining the role of Gandalf the wizard in the film trilogy of The Lord of the Rings, a role that could have earned him reportedly up to $400m, the former James Bond actor has claimed second place among Britain’s wealthiest actors. He has seven highly commercial Bond films under his belt.
4. Sir Roger Moore Worth: £50m The second James Bond to feature in the top ten starred in seven Bond films including Live and Let Die and A View to Kill. Moore also owes much of his fortune to his marriage to Danish-Swedish multi millionaire Kristina Tholstrup.
