“No one has seen the Bond who is brittle and easily
hurt.”
The press conference for "007 Episode 1" was defined
by the conspicuous absence of Daniel Craig. With
Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, Martin Campbell
and Eva Green in attendance, the would-be Bond was
notably not invited to this monumental press conference.
The only plausible explanation is that Craig’s presence
would have hurt the publicity campaign. We can only
guess that the low approval ratings in Japan made the
cost of transporting Craig unnecessary.
